tip: save a LOT of energy by cooking the pizza crust in the pan on the stovetop....cook 1 side at med hi, then flip add toppings and cover....turn heat as low as possible until cheese melts.....if you want it browned on top 2 minutes with a propane torch.....

I love everything about this except removing the grease from the pepperoni and the skim mozzarella. I need all the fat I can get because I'm losing weight on the ketogenic diet. So yeah... love the pizza and it's so easy!!

Make the dough, set it aside. Call Pizza Hut, have a pan pizza delivered. 45 minutes later, pay the man, grab the pizza, open a beer, turn on the boob tube, watch Andy Griffith and enjoy. Do not forget to throw away the dough on the counter after the Andy Griffith show has ended.

You have to get rid of the low fat idea. It is the sugar that kills. Honey, maple sirup, corn syrup, sugar, to the body -- all the same, bad. Countries that eat butter, lard, Not Crisco, etc, live longer than the big gulp drinkers, cake and doghnut eaters.

She is such a nice, pleasant woman. It is a joy to watch her. I however, would say one thing for those of us that besides watching our fat intake, also watch how much we spend in gas, electricity, etc... I would make more than one pizza. It seem to be such a waste of heat, and a big oven to make such a small pizza. I do it frequently. Any portion of pizza you make, and don't consume right away obviously should go into the refrigerator if you plan on eating it the next day. If you plan on keeping it longer, put it in a good quality Ziploc bag, after it cools, and put it in the freezer. Prior to consuming it, take it out of the freezer ahead of time, and leave it in the bag, on top of the kitchen counter somewhere. Wait until it is at room temperature, and pop it in one of those little toaster ovens for just a couple of minutes, or until the cheese on top starts getting darker, or melting. Just as good as the day you made it, if not better. Other than that, it seems to be a crackling good pizza.

What can I use instead of plastic wrap to cover my dough overnight? I don't use plastic wrap anymore.

by switching from cold water to hot tap water (not boiling), you reduce the overnight rest of 12 hours to only 3 hours. Here’s what to do: Use the same exact recipe but use hot water instead of cold, and instead of letting it rest overnight on the counter, you let it rest for 3 hours on the counter. After 3 hours, you proceed with the original recipe from step #2.

A healthier sauce is to blitz a can of salt free diced tomatoes with fresh thyme, oregano, chives, basil, garlic (I prefer green garlic), and rosemary. Just spread it on the pizza, put your toppings on, and bake it.

lets take it outside. lol I like your recipes jenny but this is too dry. low fat pepperoni dries out and I would saute the mushrooms to take out the moisture and grill the veggies. not bad but not my fav

I dislike pepperoni with a passion so I sausage but it cook it microwave on paper towels so the fat and liquid comes out. Tastes great.
