Ok this is just spooky! I have been making this same cobbler for years except I use self-rising flour and skip the salt and baking powder. I call it One Cup Cobbler because of the one cup of flour, milk, and sugar! And I do mine at 400 for 45 minutes. Its great with my home grown blackberries too! In the winter and during the off season when fresh ripe peaches are unavailable i use a pint of my home canned peaches with the light syrup and it works perfect too. I agree fresh peaches are the best but when I was away in law school, I was forced to use store-bought canned and it was still pretty good. Thanks for taking the time to make all of these videos. I don't sleep much and watching them is very entertaining. I am watching you make cobbler at 2 a.m. Hahaha.

I'm looking to use some of my blueberries, do you think it will work if I try and substitute. it looks, so good I can eat the whole thing. Any ways no body has a video on how to make a blueberries in a bubbling mix of yumminess. I think I will try now. I do got a peach tree that came form the compost pile, and it give nice ones. I made chutney with them. But this awesome call it comfort food or whatever is just super thanks for showing us how and your beautiful person and orchard!

The cobbler batter is very thin so its fine to over mix it... in fact its perfect! You wanna get rid of the lumps! Because its very thin it won't over work and become tough! so don't be afraid to stir it very well!

Thanks for the recipe. I made it and it turned out wonderfully! The only comment I have is that it grew so much in the oven, that it overflowed! I'm glad I put a cookie sheet underneath to catch everything. All my friends loved it, and I'll definitely be making it again :)

rebecca, i tried this recipe and i added too much baking powder. my cobbler came out like a cake. this is why i suck at baking or cooking. but at least i'm learning from my mistakes
