2 things about this video:
1- my turtleneck is too thick for this suit. I grabbed the wrong one to shoot the talking part of this video. That makes my jacket look too small for me. SUIT MISTAKE!
2- not being political with the thumbnail. President Trump’s ties are just always too long :)
2 things about this video:
1. why would someone who can afford a 399$ on Apple Watch or 200$ mont blanc wallet would wear a 359$ suit...?!?!?!
2. Talking about Classic looks/Classic suits and showcasing skinny fitting, ill fitting, small sized suits ...?!?!?! isn’t it just opposite of timeless & classic?!?!?!
You are very handsome and look well groomed, but your suits are ill-fitting. Arms and shoulder far too tight. You look trim but the suit does not fit well across your mid-section. Ties are the absolute in high taste the problem is that most men only know one tie knot. There are many different knots that are elegant. How to tell if a man has good taste, is simple, there is no reason to ever wear a black suit unless you are attending a funeral. Deep gray, dove gray, many shades of blue (deep rich navy blue is a must) very small pinstripes. It comes down to the material--always, always select quality material. Guys, please stay away from wide stripes, the Steve Harvey ballon suits, and pants that are poorly cut-too short (pants should drape and barely touch the top of your shoe and taper in the back to touch the back of your shoe. Highwater pants and pants that show your bulge, too tight at the thigh. Most men only need three or four good quality suits and then many shirts and ties.
Wait, I have a two buttons blazer, should I not button my bottom button only when I sit? cause if you don't button your bottom button while standing there's a space at your navel showing the lower part of your necktie and in my opinion it looks tacky.
One more suit mistake that he didn't mention: man-made material
All suits should be made of NATURAL FABRIC (i.e. wool, linen, silk, cotton, etc.)! Nothing says cheap like polyester, rayon/viscose, etc.
1) A lot of investment bankers, ala Goldman Sachs, wear digital/Timex watch with their suits; 2) Wear suit that fit your body; 3) Although people go for tieless look, Hermes/Ferragamo tie help to define the look.
Many armatures on you tube when you want to speak about how to dress a suite YOU should where a good suit your self the suit you wearing doesn't belong to you and looks real l bad. You giving bad advice for people..
Lol alot of mistakes that men make when wearing suits....... People he is referring to himself and the suit he is wearing is a complete mistake and does not fit. This guy is a complete dumbass! Hahaha idiot kid that does not know how to even wear a suit correctly hahahaha
Bro, your suit is way to tight on the shoulders. Now I'm all for a tight suit, I wear a 36 short, but your shit looks ridiculous. And I noticed when you were wearing that gray suit that u were wearing white sneakers... you should be ashamed of yourself
I am a classic dresser and I beg to differ on many points in this video.
Point 1: A smart watch is perfectly fine. The important thing is the shirt needs to be made with a custom cuff to fit the watch underneath so it is only visible when it is used.
Point 2: Leave stitching in pockets that you don’t use is fine.
Point 3: Watch at 1:45 is way too big to be worn with the style of suit in the video.
Point 4: Suit is TOO tailored. The Tom Ford look is popular now but it is very unforgiving. An extra sweater or a vest will throw the line of the suit off. Also, paints are too short. The paint legs should touch the top of the shoes so socks are not visible.
Point 5: A thicker wallet is OK as long as the jacket has enough room to accommodate it. What is unsightly is the wallet creating a bulge such that the lapels do not lie flat against the chest.
Point 6: Three button is fine - you only need to button the middle button. But a Tom Ford style jacket just isn’t long enough to accommodate three buttons.
Point 7: Trump’s tie is not too big as long as his lapel width matches.
Point 8: I’ve actually seen label left on jacket sleeve. I don’t care if it says silk or mohair it is not tasteful.
Point 9: The Tom Ford highly fitted look might just be a passing fad. Especially that it has a tendency to expose shirt fabric above the belt buckle.
Point 10: Pocket square tends to be pretentious unless for an evening formal affair.
Take it from me- go to Europe to learn style. I'm from the US and have now lived in Europe for almost 3 years and my style went up 10-fold. I looked at pics of me before I came here and I wouldn't talk to that guy now.
The big difference is in the US, style/art is an extra-curricular thing whereas In Europe, it's a normal thing. High schoolers here have better dressing style than most US people.
I tell the 20 year-old girls here all they would have to do is literally stand up in the US and some guy would buy them a house and car within 30 days flat due to most women in the US being fat or do poorly with makeup.
And yeah, the jacket is too tight...
